RULES OF THE BODIFIT® ATHLETE COMPETITION

1. EVENT ORGANIZER OF THE BODIFIT® ATHLETE COMPETITION

The organizer of the competition is BODIFIT® Association. The notice and application form for the competition can be found on https://bodifit.net/athlete.

Address of the organizer: BODIFIT®, Nova ulica 24, 2000 Maribor. The person responsible for the BODIFIT® Athlete competition is Marko Geršak. The main referee and manager of the BODIFIT® Athlete competition is Andrej Hajnc.

2. BASIC INFORMATION ON THE COMPETITION

BODIFIT® Athlete is an international BODIFIT® competition of recreation enthusiasts and athletes. The participants in the competition are tested in two categories by gender (female and male) and in set of seven compound exercises, which are:

  1. JUMP – LONG JUMP
  2. SQUAT – ONE LEG SQUAT
  3. PULL-UP – PULL-UPS
  4. MOBILITY – SIT AND REAC
  5. TORSO PRESS – BENCH PRESS
  6. ISOMETRIC – DUMBBELL CRUCIFIX
  7. AGILITY – CUBE SPRINT

3. WHO CAN PARTICIPATE

All individuals of any level of training who are older than 15 and who pay the registration fee before the competition can participate in the BODIFIT® Athlete competition.

4. REGISTRATION

To participate on the BODIFIT® Athlete competition one has to fill out the application form on https://bodifit.net/athlete and pay the registration fee.

5. REGISTRATION FEE

The registration fee for the competition is 20 € for BODIFIT® members and 40 € for non-members. The fee must be paid before the competition, at registration. Registration starts 30 minutes before the competition on the event venue. For easier preparation of the competition it is desired that participants register themselves on our website before the event.

6. COURSE OF THE COMPETITION

The BODIFIT® Athlete competition takes place in the BODIFIT® Ljubljana and BODIFIT® Maribor (City) centres. Each competition is run by a panel of referees composed of one main referee and two subsidiary referees.

All referees are certified experts. At the time of the competition, the referees have evaluation cards for every participant. The results of every participant are written on the evaluation cards, separately for each exercise.

The organizer announces the winner of the competition by category (men and women) on each location. The first three places are announced.

The participant with the least amount of points is the winner (the result for every competition is added together, which shows the first three competitors with the least amount of points). Winners of the BODIFIT® Athlete competition will test themselves on the international EUROFIT® FEST final competition, which will be held on March 10th 2019. Participants and organizers are obliged to act in the spirit of sportsmanship and obey the rules of the competition.

7. AWARDS

All winners of the competition will receive gifts from the sponsors of the competition. The final winners of both categories – men and women, who will participle in EUROFIT® FEST event, will also get the main award for the competition.

The champions of the BODIFIT® ATHLETE competition will receive:

  • An annual pass for unlimited workouts for all BODIFIT® centres throughout Slovenia.
  • An annual BODIFIT® SHOP sponsorship (food supplements for personal use).
  • Professional training device from BODIFIT® SHOP sponsor (an agreement based on available stock and athlete’s demands).
  • Professional photo shooting and personal photo book.
  • Winners become “the annual face of BODIFIT®”, which means, according to the agreement, they will be publicly exposed in BODIFIT® publications and other media campaigns.
  • Other gifts from sponsors.

8. COMPLAINTS

The contestants will arrange any complaints with the main referee of the competition in the semi-final or final competition. The referee judges the possible appeals of the referees over the competitors with the main responsible person of the competition, which is Marko Geršak.

9. VARIOUS

Participants are responsible for their own injuries on the BODIFIT® Athlete competition. The organizer is not liable for any injuries that may occur during the competition.

The personal duty of every competitor is to prevent the entry of prohibited substances into his or her  body and not to use prohibited procedures. 

The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the competition or rules. Any changes that occur will be posted on https://bodifit.net/athlete.

By submitting the application form for participation in the BODIFIT® Athlete competition, the individual agrees with the competition rules.
